Protocols
The Signinc API is built around REST. It uses the OAuth 2 protocol to facilitate authorization and returns standard HTTP response codes and JSON responses.
All API requests exist in either sandbox (https://sandbox.signinc.com) or production (https://api.signinc.com) mode. Credentials for one cannot be used to access the other. The "Try It" feature in our documentation works exclusively in sandbox mode with sandbox credentials.
API requests in our sandbox environment are free, but the associated documents are watermarked and not digitally signed or tamperproof.
